About

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 49

We’re glad that your family has joined Scouting and we hope you and your son/daughter will have a great adventure with Cub Scout Pack 49. Pack 49 was established in 1956 and thrives due to the dedication of its volunteer leaders and parents like you! We all believe that Scouting is an important part of the physical, mental, and spiritual development of our boys and girls.

Pack 49 is in the Metacomet District and includes the towns of Foxboro, Holliston, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Natick, Norfolk, Norwood, Plainville, Sharon, Sherborn, Walpole and Wrentham. The Mayflower Council was established in 2017 and is a result of the consolidation of Scouting programming that has served Greater Metro West and the South Shore areas of Massachusetts for over a century. Comprised of territory that was once part of the Algonquin, Norumbega, Knox Trail, Squanto, and Old Colony Councils, the Mayflower Council is rich with the traditions and history of generations of scouts and scouting families.

                                                        About Our Chartered  Organization

All Cub Scout Packs are associated with a chartering organization that sponsors them: provides meeting facilities and approves the selection of leaders. Pack 49 is chartered by Grace Episcopal Church in Norwood, MA.

Scouts BSA does not define the specifics of any particular religion except to say that faith should be part of it. Scouts BSA encourages its members to actively practice their own religious faith. Scouting is a non-denominational religious and educational institution and all faiths are welcome.

You do not have to be a member of Grace Church to join Pack 49.

DO YOUR BEST!!
